If fencer will be over 18 on the day of the event then skip this form.

Parental permission is mandatory if:

  - fencer will be under the age of 18 on the day of the event
     and
  - fencers over the age of 18 are allowed to enter the event.


Note that regardless of parental permission, for events with any fencers over the age of 18, fencers who were not age 13 or over on 1st January in the season of the event are not allowed to compete. They would of course be welcome as piste assistants (eg timekeeper, scorer etc).  See British Fencing rules here.

SCFU respects that many young adults are mature and capable but please tolerate our need for formality as some parents do not default to a yes on such permission.
